Description

With GENIS 2 CF, Tyrolit is expanding the performance range of the GENIS product line with an innovative, fibre-reinforced composite core for numerous applications in external cylindrical grinding. In addition to a weight reduction of up to 80 % compared to designs with a steel core, this tool concept is characterised by special damping properties for improved grinding results and increased tool life. The innovative core in combination with a customised grinding layer guarantees maximum stock removal rates, increases production capacity and enables grinding speeds of over 200 m/s.
