Stone-cutting saws, tile saws and brick band saws from Tyrolit – for tiles, bricks, aerated concrete and masonry blocks, directly on site.
The Tyrolit range of table saws comprises three distinct machine types designed to meet different requirements on the building site. Tile saws such as the TRE250 are designed for precise cuts in tiles and porcelain stoneware: with a cutting depth of up to 60 mm and cutting lengths of up to 1 m, they cover all standard tile sizes and are powered by 230 V – making them easy to use on any building site. Stone-cutting saws – TBE400, TME700 and TME1000 – are designed for harder and thicker building materials. They also operate in wet cutting mode and achieve cutting depths of 125 mm to 380 mm; the larger models are powered by 400 V and are designed for heavy-duty, stationary use on large building sites. The TBS510 brick band saw operates on the band saw principle and is specially designed for aerated concrete and a wide variety of bricks – with a cutting height of up to 510 mm.
Tyrolit table saws are suitable for cutting tiles, porcelain stoneware, bricks, brickwork, aerated concrete, sand-lime brick, pumice, hard stone, granite, gneiss, marble, porphyry, quartzite, concrete blocks, exposed aggregate concrete, hard-fired clinker and refractory products. This means the range includes the right machines for most mineral-based building materials used in structural engineering, interior finishing and tiling work. Tiles, porcelain stoneware and ceramics are best handled by tile saws; bricks, sand-lime bricks and pumice are most commonly cut using stone cutting saws or masonry band saws; hard stone such as granite, gneiss or porphyry requires the appropriately designed segment geometry of a stone cutting saw in combination with the correct table saw blade.
The cutting depth is the key factor when buying a table saw. For tiles and porcelain stoneware the TRE250 tile saw (1.3 kW, 230 V) with its precise saw head guidance is suitable for cutting depths of up to 60 mm. For bricks and standard masonry for cutting depths of up to 125 mm, the TBE400 stone cutting saw (2.2 kW, 230 V) is the right choice – offering unbeatable value for money with infinitely variable cutting depth adjustment. The TME700 (5.5 kW, 400 V) is designed for larger cross-sections up to 270 mm, whilst the TME1000 (7.5 kW, 400 V) handles the most demanding applications with a cutting depth of up to 380 mm. For aerated concrete and bricks with cutting heights of up to 510 mm, the TBS510 brick band saw (230 V) is the right machine for the job. General rule: It is better to choose a cutting depth class that is one size too large than to run the machine at its limit continuously.
Tyrolit has incorporated portability as a design feature across all models. The TRE250 tile saw can be quickly stowed away and rolled to the place of use thanks to its fold-down table legs and transport wheels – weighing in at 79 kg, it remains easy to handle. The TBE400 stone-cutting saw features retractable feet, transport wheels and carrying handles; the swivelling saw head is already integrated for mitre cuts. The heavy-duty models TME700 (220 kg) and TME1000 (324 kg) are fitted with swivel castors suitable for use on construction sites, forklift guides and a crane hook – enabling them to be safely positioned and moved even on demanding large-scale construction sites. The TBS510 brick band saw also features a quick-release fastener for hassle-free saw blade changes on site.
Tyrolit table saws and table saw blades are designed as a coordinated system solution. The saw blades from the Tyrolit range – TSU for general-purpose building materials, TSH for hard stone, DCT and DCP for tiles and porcelain stoneware, TSM for marble and soft stone, and F40 for refractory materials – are engineered for maximum performance when used in combination with the respective Tyrolit machines. The SILENT versions of the table saw blades reduce noise levels by up to 10 dB, which corresponds to halving the perceptible noise level – a clear benefit for health and safety on the building site. Depending on the saw blade diameter and machine mounting, the appropriate reduction rings are included. For dry-cut table saw blades, Tyrolit offers high-quality sharpening plates for continuous resharpening.
The TME1000 stone-cutting saw is the most powerful model in the range: with 7.5 kW, a cutting depth of 380 mm and a saw blade drive via a gearbox – rather than a direct drive – it keeps service intervals to a minimum and is designed for the heaviest continuous use. Forklift guides, crane hooks and castors suitable for use on building sites also make it a professional-grade machine from a logistics perspective.
The TRE250 tile saw enables cut lengths of up to 1 m, making it suitable for large-format tiles and porcelain stoneware slabs – with infinitely adjustable cutting depth, angle and mitre cutting functions, and an easily replaceable electric water pump.
The TBS510 brick band saw stands out as the only band saw in the range: the automatic band tensioning system ensures constant band tension for excellent cutting accuracy; automatic band shut-off protects the band, and the quick-release fastener makes changing the band quick and easy, even on site.
