Diamond saw blades and diamond wires from Tyrolit are high quality tools for the highest demands and the perfect choice for numerous applications - from wall sawing to floor sawing to table sawing.
Tyrolit offers diamond tools for almost every cutting and grinding task on construction sites — from precise wall openings to the demolition of entire concrete structures. The assortment comprises six product groups, which differ according to the machine and intended use:
Wall saw blades are used on stationary wall saws and are suitable for creating openings and cut-outs in reinforced and non-reinforced concrete walls and slabs. Floor saw blades are used with floor saws for separation cuts and expansion joints in asphalt and concrete — in road construction as well as in building construction. Table saw blades are designed for stationary table saws and cover a particularly wide range of materials, from tiles and fine stoneware to natural stone and cellular concrete. Freehand saw blades — dry-cut, hand and ring saw blades — can be used flexibly on site with mobile hand and ring saws. Saw wires enable the cutting of large-scale concrete and steel structures that are inaccessible to other types of saw. Finally, diamond cup wheels are designed for angle grinders and are used for grinding and bevelling mineral surfaces.
Tyrolit diamond tools are suitable for machining concrete, reinforced concrete, asphalt, masonry, clay bricks, cellular concrete and engineering bricks. The assortment also covers tiles, fine stoneware, ceramics, granite, marble, gneiss and other natural stones, as well as refractories for specialised applications. For demolition and special projects, wire saws are available that also cleanly cut through steel and nonferrous metals. Which product is suitable for which material depends on the type of saw and the selected quality line — if required, Tyrolit’s application technology team can assist with the selection.
TGD® stands for Tyrolit Grain Distribution: a technology developed by Tyrolit that distributes diamonds within the segment in a targeted and uniform manner, rather than embedding them randomly. The result is an even distribution of load across the entire segment, an optimised cooling system during cutting and consistently high cutting performance throughout the tool’s lifetime. Wall saw blades, floor saw blades and freehand saw blades featuring TGD® Technology have been proven to last longer, place less load on machines and operators, and generate noticeably less vibration — a clear advantage in continuous operation. Some designs are also available in a SILENT version, reducing the noise pressure level by up to 10 dB, which corresponds to halving the audible noise level.
Whether wet or dry cutting is possible depends on the type of tool: wall saw blades and floor saw blades are designed for wet cutting — the cooling water is crucial for tool life and a clean cut. Freehand saw blades are primarily designed for dry cutting and can therefore be used flexibly without a water connection. Tyrolit offers table saw blades in both designs, so you can choose the right one depending on the working environment and machine specifications.
Tyrolit has been on the market since 1919 and is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of grinding and cutting tools — with over 500 patents and representatives in more than 140 countries. In the field of diamond tools, Tyrolit stands out thanks to its system-based approach: saw blades and wire saws are designed to work with Tyrolit machines (wall saws, table saws, floor saws, wire saws) and are available as a coordinated system. In addition, the company provides application technology support for specialised construction sites, as well as the option to order custom dimensions and bespoke solutions to meet specific requirements. High quality standards, reliable times of delivery and excellent customer service round off the offering.
