High-performance wall saws for concrete, reinforced concrete and masonry from Tyrolit – electric and hydraulic. With wall saw blades tailored to every application.
Tyrolit wall saws are high-performance machines for precise cuts in concrete, reinforced concrete and masonry – designed for drilling and sawing contractors as well as construction companies that demand reliability and cost-effectiveness. The product range covers the most important areas of application in the construction industry: conversion and renovation work in building construction and civil engineering, controlled demolition, and the cutting of openings for doors, windows and shafts. Tyrolit develops and manufactures both the machines and the matching wall saw blades – a system-oriented approach that has ensured maximum cutting performance and long service life for decades.
The range comprises six models in two drive variants: electric wall saws featuring P2® technology and hydraulic wall saws for particularly heavy-duty applications. The electric models WSE912, WSE1621, WSE1621 MKII and WSE2226QC cover cutting depths from 377 to 1,005 mm and are suitable for most on-site requirements. The hydraulic models DZ-S2 and FZ-4S are designed for operation with external hydraulic power units and also achieve cutting depths of up to 1,005 mm. All machines are rail-guided and operate with minimal vibration for precise, repeatable cuts. The appropriate range of wall saw blades featuring TGD® technology is tailored to the respective machines.
The maximum cutting depth depends on the model selected and ranges from 377 mm to 1,005 mm. The compact WSE912 achieves up to 377 mm – suitable for standard openings and confined spaces. The WSE1621 and WSE1621 MKII achieve up to 705 mm, thereby covering the majority of typical wall thicknesses in building construction. For particularly deep cuts, the WSE2226QC with 26 kW of electrical power and the hydraulic FZ-4S are available – both with a cutting depth of up to 1,005 mm. This range makes them the right choice for tunnel, infrastructure and demolition projects involving heavy reinforcement and large wall cross-sections.
Electric wall saws featuring P2® technology are the first choice for most construction sites: they do not require an external hydraulic power unit, are easy to set up and are low-maintenance. The WSE912 to WSE2226QC models have power outputs ranging from 11 to 26 kW and are suitable for everything from standard applications to large-scale cutting jobs. Hydraulic wall saws such as the DZ-S2 (up to 20 kW) and the FZ-4S (up to 40 kW) are used where the power supply is limited or maximum power is required – for example, for very deep cuts with large blade diameters of up to 2,200 mm. The decision therefore depends on three factors: the power supply available on site, the required cutting depth and the desired level of mobility.
P2® stands for Tyrolit’s high-frequency drive concept featuring water-cooled permanent magnet motors. It delivers high torque whilst reducing motor speed – this protects the components, extends service life and eliminates the need for costly maintenance intervals. In practice, this means: greater power output from the same power supply, greater operational reliability and fewer unplanned breakdowns on site. All electric wall saws in the Tyrolit range are equipped with P2® technology. The WSE912 further complements this concept with OmniGrid® technology, which enables uninterrupted operation even with a fluctuating or single-phase power supply.
The WSE912 is the most compact and latest wall saw in the range (2025) – ideal for confined construction sites and challenging power supply conditions thanks to OmniGrid® technology. The WSE2226QC With 26 kW and a cutting depth of up to 1,005 mm, it delivers the highest electrical power in the range and is designed for the most demanding cutting tasks. The WSE1621 and their further development, which WSE1621 MKII, impress with their modular system: the same motor module can be used for wall saws, wire saws and drilling applications – this saves on investment costs and reduces the number of machines required on site.
Tyrolit is one of the few manufacturers that develops and produces both the machines and the matching wall saw blades using TGD® technology in-house. This system-based approach – machine and tool from a single source – guarantees optimised performance parameters and minimises cutting errors caused by unsuitable tool-machine combinations. The Modular System enables multiple applications to be carried out using a single machine module.
The MoveSmart integration provides real-time operational data and facilitates fleet planning and predictive maintenance. With over 100 years’ experience in the development of concrete processing machinery, more than 500 patents and a sales presence in over 140 countries, Tyrolit stands for technical expertise that is evident in day-to-day use on construction sites.
