Description

Tyrolit's STRATO ALPHA sets a further milestone in the economical production of turbine blades. Thanks to the new ALPHA technology, these vitrified bonded high-performance grinding wheels provide an exceptionally long lifetime, high profile retention and a particularly cool grinding performance.

Features

Increased lifetime:
The new combination of grit quality, geometry and integration provides low grinding wheel wear. This significantly increases the lifetime of the tools.
Environmentally friendly:
The new STRATO ALPHA is environmentally friendly, meaning it has been produced without the use of organic pore fillers and with consumption optimised combustion curves. This makes it possible to significantly reduce CO2 emissions during production.
Cool grinding:
The highly porous bonding system improves the absorption of cooling lubricants. Specially developed abrasive grains ensure reduced heat generation on the workpiece
Reduced grinding time:
The improved properties of the STRATO ALPHA bonding system extensively increase the stock removal rate compared to other grinding wheels on the market
