Fibre Discs in Top Quality

In every application fibre discs feature flexibility, high stock removal rates and easy handling. Our large assortment ranges from vulcanised fibre discs to environmentally friendly natural fibre discs. The latter consists of ecological jute fibre and they are used without additional cores. Another advantage of these fibre discs: they are trimmable and thus enable maximum stock removal from the beginning to the end of their service life. In the ceramic segment the CERABOND X fibre disc is a convincing product, particularly in terms of its high stock removal rate and long lifetime.

Fibre discs with high-quality accessories

It goes without saying that we offer accessories of the same high quality as the fibre discs. Specifically, these are supporting discs in various grades, with which you can additionally influence the performance on the workpiece. Supporting discs with a special design generate a constant air circulation and thus prevent excessive heat development, both on the workpiece and on the disc. The fibre discs are clamped onto the angle grinder. In addition, there are the Quick-Change versions for the mini angle grinder: available in diameters of 51 and 76 mm, the user-friendly Quick-Change fibre discs are particularly suitable for working in hard-to-reach places.

Fibre discs with typical Tyrolit advantages

The basic advantages of fibre discs result, among other things, from the elasticity of the base (e.g. vulcanised fibre). They are therefore characterised by good adaptability and a fine and uniform grinding surface pattern. The fibre discs with CERABOND technology, with their combination of ceramic grain and our unique bond system, guarantee lasting aggressiveness and a long lifetime, whether for surface grinding, removing welding seams or rust and deburring. The CERABOND X fibre discs as well as the zirconia aluminia fibre discs are also available in a specially manufactured package of 50 pieces. A spindle system with a fastener prevents the discs from bending open.
