Reamer for thread core bits
If the exchangeable modules are slightly worn, the reamers hold the external diameter of the bore. For bores deeper than 12 m. Partly also for very abrasive materials and drilling depths of 5 to 12 m.

Ensures that there is no increased friction between the thread core bit and the drill hole (even with increased wear on the drill head).

Features
- Prevents additional friction between drill crown and borehole
- Operates reliably even with increased drill head wear

Typical service life: 4–5 drill holes
Recommendations
- Only one reamer should be mounted after the core catcher case. If no core catcher case is used, the scraper must be mounted directly after the drill head
- The use of a scraper is advisable for drill holes deeper than 10-12 m
- For abrasive materials, the use of a reamer is also recommended for shorter holes
- The number of reamers used for a drill hole depends on the service life of the drill head. If the drill hole is longer than the service life of the drill head, the use of a reamer is recommended
