Description
With the MIRA REX COMP in 2-zone composite design, we have succeeded in developing technically optimised and adapted honing rings for power honing. The abrasive internal ring is produced with a vitrified bond. The outer ring consists of a PU bond without abrasive grain, the properties are matched to the application behaviour. The mechanical wear on the tool holder is reduced due to the composite zone without abrasive grain, which improves assembly and disassembly. In addition, the weight of the honing rings is reduced by up to 20%. This simplifies handling and supplies lower loads on the machine components. MIRA REX COMP honing rings guarantee improved and permanently reproducible surface quality on the workpiece.
