Reduced grinding times—Much higher stock removal rates are possible, thanks to the improved bonding properties of VIPER ULTRA. This noticeably reduces the grinding time, and makes the grinding process more cost-efficient.
Significantly better profile retention—The extremely strong and stable bond matrix and optimised grain spacing give rise to considerably improved profile retention.
Cool polished section—Particularly during creep feed grinding, large contact surfaces and high stock removal rates generate a lot of grinding energy (grinding heat). The high-porosity VIPER ULTRA bond system allows better absorption of cooling lubricant and grinding chips. The result: measurably improved component quality thanks to increased profile retention and cool grinding.
Increased wheel life—Large pore spaces, an extremely strong and stable bond matrix, optimised grain spacing and higher operating speed all mean less radial wear and reduced dressing amounts. This dramatically increases tool lifetime.
