Divisions Construction Floor Sawing Cured Concrete Saws

Cured concrete saws find application in the most widely varied construction areas. Diamond circular saws come into application especially in the civil engineering sector with the sanitation or demolition in street, bridge or airport construction, however also in building construction with floor cutting, openings, retreating of foundations, etc.

Many factors influence the cutting result. Decisive factors for the cutting result are:

Material

  • Reinforcing share (number and diameter)
  • Type and size of the aggregates
  • Sand share in concrete
  • Compaction of the concrete (porosity)

Machine

  • Machine drive power type (electric, hydraulic, diesel or petrol drive)
  • Weigth of the machine
  • Feed speed
  • Infeed depth
  • Machine condition

Cooling

  • Wet- or dry cutting

Depending on machine and application you find specially adapted products in the TYROLIT programme. It doesn’t matter if it is reinforced or unreinforced concrete, electric-, petrol-, or diesel joint cutters.

TYROLIT offers the perfect tools for every material and for every machine.

Product Program, Specifications, Cutting varietes (requires Adobe Reader)

The coordination of the type first of all takes place through the design shape.

C1

  • Wide spacing, wide slots
  • Very easy cutting
  • For low powered machines
  • 40 mm long segments

C3

  • Narrow spacing, narrow slots
  • Additional relief punching against crack formation
  • For high powered machines
  • 40 mm long segments

C5

  • Wide spacing, narrow slots
  • Additional relief punching against crack formation
  • 40 mm long segments

C7

  • Wide spacing, angular slots
  • Extremely easy cutting, especially in reinforcing steel
  • Observe rotational direction (see lacquered rotational direction arrow)
  • 40 mm long segments

  • Selection of the saw design shape as well as the specification, has to take place after the selection of the machine
  • Pay attention to rotational direction
  • Guarantee sufficient cooling
  • Do not use any damaged flanges
  • Select the correct peripheral speed
  • Optimum peripheral speeds for soft aggregates, low reinforcing shar: 40 – 45 m/s
  • Optimum peripheral speeds for hard aggregates, heavy reinforcing: 35 – 40 m/s
  • Keep the maximum peripheral speeds (see enclosed packing slip)
