"No undesired crack in green concrete"
The concrete curing process causes tensions, which leads to cracks in the concrete. These cracks are unavoidable.
To lead these cracks into defined areas, expansion joints are cut in a depth 1/3 of the concrete thickness.
For this reason the application of diamond circular saws is an absolutely necessary technology.
Green concrete saw blades are used in road and airport construction as well as for industrial floors, for the cutting of expansion and sealing joints.
TYROLIT offers a perfect range of green concrete saw blades, according to the different concrete aggregates, reinforcing shares and curing times.
Our new TYRREX Program was specially developed for the user needs. It provides extremely fast cutting and excellent cutting edges.
Shorter cutting times means lower cutting costs.

- Select correct specification according to machine power, concrete aggregates and the curing time - this is made simple with our colour coded tools
- Pay attention to the rotation direction
- Ensure an adequate cooling
- Check blade shaft for wear deformations (worn or damaged shafts considerably shorten the tool life)
- Recommended peripheral speeds 50-55m/s - Low r.p.m. leads to excessively reduced tool life.
Cut depths over 100mm should be cut in two steps.
