The cutting-off of prestressed concrete beams to the desired length is only possible by means of diamond circular saws. The goal to minimize the costs per cut can only be achieved through customer specific solutions.
Specially adapted tools guarantee the best solution for every customer.
The suitable specification is determined depending on material and machine.
TYROLIT optimizes the result with the cutting-off of prefabricated, prestressed concrete elements, whether they are cross-sections, longitudinal cuts or angular cuts of hollow floors, solid profiles, T-girders, sleepers or brick lintels.

-
Always work in wet cutting process
-
Cooling either by means of a cooling fork (also supply water to the face side of the segments) or by means of flange cooling
-
Stable machine design necessary
-
Peripheral speed not allowed to exceed 63m/s
-
Check angular cut behaviour of the machine
-
Use of full cut up to beam height of 350mm

-
Specially adapted diamond saws to the material and machine
-
Highest accuracy with the production
-
Highest reproducibility, therefore constant product quality
-
Optimum lifetime and stock removal rates
-
100% segment adhesion inspection
-
Many years experience in the prestressed concrete sector
The following data is absolutely necessary in order to be able to determine the optimal specification
Material
- Aggregates (limestone, granite, quartz etc.), grading curve of the aggregates
- Sand share
- Curing time (in hours) until the beam is cut, furthermore, whether the beam is heated with the curing or whether different materials are used for shortening the curing
- Reinforcement share in construction element – number, thickness and position
- Construction element geometry, hollow floor, solid floor, T-girder etc.
Machine
- Drive power in kW
- R.p.m, and whether r.p.m is adjustable
- Cooling – type of cooling (fork or flange colling)
- Maximum power consumption in amps
Program
Prestressed concrete saws are produced in solid and noise reducted design, from Ø 400 – 1500mm. Exact dimensions and specifications are dependent on the various application data and available on request.
