Optimum results and easy application:  With the Secur® LAB program of laboratory cut-off wheels we offer the optimum cut-off wheel for a diversity of materials, workpiece dimensions and hardness.

Cut-off wheel selection: Various wheel specifications can be applied depending on the type - hardness and ductility - and the dimensions of the materials to be cut-off. The difference in wheel hardness is indicated by the new and unique color-coding by TYROLIT. Ceramics and tungsten carbide alloys are cut-off with diamond tools.

Application guidelines: 

• Sufficient cooling with 2-3% anti-corrosive additive
• Avoid excessive contact pressure to prevent cut deviation
• For larger workpiece dimensions we recommend application of the next softest specification
