Divisions Natural Stone Diamond Wires

The use of TYROLIT diamond wires means

  • Tailor-made solutions for any application
  • High standardisation
  • Complete system solutions
  • Improved technologies for better cutting results

TYROLIT offers a wide range of wire designs and specifications, meeting exactly the customers' demand.

Furthermore the close cooperation with renown machine manufacturers enables TYROLIT Vincent to offer a complete system solution for any of your quarrying needs.

Rubber coated wires in various designs for cutting hardstone and sandstone are available.

All wires have 36-40 beads per meter and rubber assembly. This rubber assembly protects the steel cable very well and increases the wires strength.

The beads with diameter 11mm and 1.5mm diamond layer can be used till diameter 8.5mm.

For extracting calcareous stones, plastified assembled wires are in operation. The use of both sintered and electroplated diamond beads enlarges the fields of application in a wide extent.

For the wide range of marbles and limestones worldwide TYROLIT has different options of assembly. The rubber assembly with 32 beads protects the steel cable very well and is recommended for materials, on which the performance won't exceed 30m2/lm.

The standard on calcareous stone is the traditional spring assembly with various options (26 to 32 beads/lm).
On sintered beads the standard diameter is 11mm with 1.5mm diamond layer, for special applications like low powered machines and non-abrasive materials we recommend sintered beads with 10mm diameter or electroplated beads.

The growing importance of stationary wire cutting has led to special challenges for TYROLIT Vincent.

The use of completely new technologies and designs of TYROLIT wires provides various advantages for the end user.

  • Newly developed bead geometries allow high cutting rates for blockcutting applications.
  • The improved plastic coating ensures a stable unit until the beads are finished.
  • Endless wires allow high tension rates. The new connectors prevent wire breakages in the connection area.
